Circa 2008.

When I was told my peer and I, with whom I still work with today in production and cannot be more appreciative for the partnership we continue to have and the support, will be responsible for one of the largest theatrical offerings offered during the holiday season you don’t question the task ahead.

You accept the challenge and embrace the opportunity to make a difference.

Celebrate the Season is the featured castle stage show that happens nightly at the Magic Kingdom during the holiday season. With a cast of more than 100 and a crew of roughly 20, you are now responsible to make a holiday spectacular happen!

This moment was one of the first opportunities outside of my regular responsibilities assigned to me to showcase my abilities. This experience had truly shaped me into who I am today.

It was with passion and determination to take on my first full scale show with a wiliness to learn from our mentor along the way that we were able to manage the rehearsal process.

I learned a lot, I cried a lot (both good and bad), but most of all we collectively made it happen. I will never forget the moment we were standing on the bridge of the castle following a successful approval run when our mentor, looked at us both said “Good job boys...have a great night” then turned around and left.

That was the moment I knew I had succeeded!
